Digital Proof Disclaimer

GFX Printing (Online Since 1990) produces or prints work for you based on your submitted design files, specifications and instructions. While we may bring to your attention any major obvious errors (see below for what we check), YOU ARE ULTIMATELY RESPONSIBLE FOR APPROVAL OF DIGITAL PROOFS, PROOF READING AND ANY ERRORS WITHIN THE DOCUMENT(s).

What we Check: Even if you use our Preflight Tool (digital proofing system), we only check 1) fonts outlined, 2) CMYK, 3) Pantones and RGB are converted to CMYK (no color matching provided), and 4) document size. Nothing else is checked. Note that we do not check if your files will get trimmed incorrectly, i.e. if you order 4x6, we only check that the file is 4x6.

If we produce work that contains errors that are not caused by GFX Printing then you are responsible for full productions costs, as well as for the cost of producing the work a second time, if you request it. Additional shipping expenses are also borne by you.

If color matching is a requirement of the job, then you must let us know at the beginning of the job (or better yet, prior to ordering) and specify color matching is necessary and pay the additional fees associated with color matching. Due to all the substrates involved (papers and stocks), we can only provide close CMYK matching, not guaranteed matching (eg, bright blues almost always convert to purple). The fee for this service is $80.00 per hour, with a minimum of 30 minutes charged. You will receive a PDF/JPG proof showing you the correction(s) and to okay the digital proof.

Also, if the resolution / print quality of the finished print is critical to the job then we strongly urge you to request a PDF proof so that you can check and approve print resolution prior to printing. The fee for this service is $10.00 per PDF/JPG proof.

To avoid mistakes in your job please carefully proofread your work beforehand, and be sure to check if your artwork is setup properly before submitting your files. We do not proofread your files for typos ever.
